Setup Sunday - Surviving the Superbowl spread

Are you heading out to celebrate Superbowl 50?  Are there visions of hot cheese dip, hot wings and pizza rolls dancing in your head?  Well wake up! No need to set yourself back if you don't have too.  Here are a few options that are satisfying and are in the spirit of the football celebration event:

  1. Turkey burger sliders
  2. Baked sweet potatoe fries
  3. Kale chips
  4. Air popped popcorn
  5. Dark chocolate covered strawberries
  6. Dark chocolate trail mix
  7. Fresh fruits, vegetables and cheese

Now there isn't anything wrong with a wing or two, but it's great to have some food on hand that takes away the guilt.

Just in case there are fruits and vegetables left, use them to meal prep for the upcoming weeks.  Fresh fruit freezes well to make smoothies and vegetables make great salads and sides for meals but both are great for juicing.
