Why Networking is King

You are off trying to build your empire all from behind your computer, it's almost like you are the Wizard of Oz and no one knows who you are. How do you solve this? You come from behind the screen and you network. I'm sure that you are trying to figure out how to come out from behind the screen and meet new people.

One of the things that I've recently done was join a blogging group. Not only is it a group that I can bounce ideas off of, see what's going on in the industry but this group also has social gatherings which allows me to make face to face connections, have a bit of fun and build new relationships. Not sure how to connect with others try Meetup. Meetup allows you to meet people in your local community that have common interest in the event you don't know where to start with networking.
