Moving pass basic - #fithappens100days

This week I decided that it was time to amp it up and move past my step goal and really push my body.  I guess I can't even say that I decide but I have been waiting for this new program in town called Orange Theory Fitness to open and this week was mock week.  What is mock week?  Well it is a time for those who had signed up for memberships to give the location a try prior to it being open to the general public.

Well after only one session, I must say, by George, I think I that I like it.  It was a great total body workout, it consisted of rowing, treadmill, weights and stretching and I was told that each day the workout is different.  You wear a heart rate monitor that tracks your calories burned and of course your heart rate and you get to see all of this while in the class on the screen.  When you are all done you are emailed your results before you get to the car.  This concept is just downright awesome to me.

I will admit that I think that the price is a bit steep but hey I only pay $15 a month at my company gym and that includes two 30 min personal training sessions per week so my baseline may be a bit low. One of the reasons I decided to bite the bullet and give it a try is because my husband said if you want different results you need different actions. After this weeks workout I think that with the right food plan, consistent attendance to Orange Theory and my continued training with Katie it's about to go down! Finger and toes crossed but I think that I've found something that will work for me for the next few months!
