I featured my signature look from the first year because I wasn't going to be a part of this natural revolution because I only wanted to see what my hair would do without the relaxer.

Then those

post started to kick in and I jumped in with products and styles

VIDEO'S AREN'T FOR ME!!!

I love the outcome but it requires a lot of time and effort to make a video but I will say that I love, love, love the end results.....a finished product for all to enjoy.

From videos I moved onto SHIRTS!

Then I fell off some (the story of my life)
I got busy, I continued to post pics and products but I wasn't as dedicated. But behind the scenes I was watching every move of celebrity stylist Felicia Leatherwood. Watching until the time that I was able to get me some one on one conversation, knowledge, and sincere love from this lady who had traveled from LA to Raleigh, NC and was willing to gift me some of her time.

This lady encouraged me to go to Beauty School. It was time out for the

stylist that was only able to do their own hair so I decided that I would work on a few other heads:

But it still wasn't enough! I wanted to explore the world of cosmetology. I wanted to attend VoTech while in high school but my dad thought that I needed to learn computers and we all know that "father knows best".

So I've been working for the same company for 19 years now and while I believe that I make good money for what I do, it fails to fuel my creative side so now

I'M ENROLLED IN BEAUTY SCHOOL

I'm a proud student at The Essence Academy

but like everything, I have some process improvements that I would like to implement there but as my other half told me.......It's not UVA. I had to laugh when he said that.
